Alternative Resources Interdisciplinary Unit - 

This project was created for a Special Studies course.  With the help of an advisor, I created a unit about alternative energy that incorporated science, social studies, language arts, and mathematics.  The unit was designed for middle school students, but could easily be modified for different ages.  Here you will find a step by step plan for the teachers, as well as an annotated bibliography for sources of information.

Beech Maple Trail Resource Pamphlet -

While interning at Kirkmont Center, I created a trail guide for the Beech Maple Trail.  I marked various areas along the path and gave information on everything from moss to trees to rocks.  It was designed to create a way for a hiker to learn more about their surroundings without requiring a naturalist to be with them.
